Samba - (Raden) - Mahabharata
As Titians Bathara Drema, Samba wanted to marry Dewi Yadnyanawati/Hagnyanawati, the daughter of Prabu Narakasura, the king of Surateleng, who is believed to be the daughter of Bathari Dremi, who had married Prabu Bomanarakasura/Sitija, the son of King Krishna with Dewi Pretiwi. Raden Samba died in the battle against Prabu Bomanarakasura, but was revived by Prabu Krishna, who then destroyed Prabu Bomanarakasura with the Cakra weapon. Raden Samba died after the end of the Bharatayuda war in the mace war between the Yadawa, Wresni and Andaka families.
Raden Samba son of Prabu Krishna, king of Dwarawati country, from his marriage with his queen, Dewi Jembawati. He is a person with a very beautiful romantic face, so that a person with a beautiful romantic face is often compared to being beautiful like Samba. Samba with an upturned face (Javanese: nglangang), with a loud voice. His speech is charming and witty. But it is not powerful. Samba's ability to speak was even able to soften the resolve of his aunt, Dewi Wara Sembadra, until she agreed when Wara Sembadra would be married to Arjuna. Even though he actually hated Arjuna.
One day, Samba received supernatural powers when his hands were tattooed and sliced into pieces by a priest. But his magic only lasts temporarily. Samba is a drop of God Hyang Drema. This god is married to Dewi Dremi who has indeed promised Betara Drema to meet in the world as husband and wife. Hyang Drema means it will drop on the son of the king of Dwarawati, Raden Samba. But Batari Dremi was confused. When he arrived in the world he followed the king's son, Raden Bomanarakasura, while he was supposed to follow Raden Samba. After Raden Samba met Dewi Agnyanawati, the incarnation of Dewi Dremi, who had promised Betara Drema to meet in the world, this meeting was prevented, because Dewi Agnyanawati was in the hands of Raden Bomanarakasura. So Samba was killed by Bomanarakasura. Samba's body was torn apart, until it no longer looked like anything.
After Raden Samba got the diagram in hand, it became magical. The proof is that he can defeat the powerful monster king and other enemies. Considering his true nature, at that time Raden Samba, based on his will and desires, was gifted by the Gods with supernatural powers. But the supernatural powers he obtained were not natural supernatural powers and were only temporary. Besides, Raden Samba is not a powerful knight. After the temporary loss of his supernatural powers, he became an ordinary Raden Samba again.
And from this example it can be concluded that humans can base their actions on wrong morals. Even though the results of his actions are limited in nature, in essence he has reaped his own fruit and character and it is good to note in this connection, that in contrast to wrong character, good and upright character produces fruit that is more enjoyable. Raden Samba's face is classified as the best, so it becomes a metaphor that a man's face that is good and looks up is like Samba pradan, like Samba shadow puppets with prada paint.
Raden Samba has narrow eyes, a pointed nose, and an upturned face, indicating that his voice is light and loud. With a braided lizard, decorated with an eagle on its back. Edited kembuk kluwih. Son necklace. Ringing, popping and curling. Putran butt cloth (clothes of a king's son).
Samba berwanda: 1. Sembada, 2. Bontit and 3. Banjet.
