Gatot Kaca - (Raden) - Mahabharata[edit | edit source]

When he was born, Gatotkaca was a giant. Because it is so powerful, with any weapon the umbilical cord cannot be cut. Finally, the umbilical cord could also be cut with Karna's weapon called Kunta, but the weapon's sheath entered Gatotkaca's stomach and further increased his supernatural powers.
By the will of the Gods, baby Gatotkaca was cooked into porridge and filled with various magical powers. Therefore, Raden Gatotkaca, who has wire veins, iron bones, and blood, can fly in the sky and sit on the transverse clouds. Gatotkaca's speed flies like lightning and is wild like thunder. His magic in war was his ability to rip out his enemy's neck, but this was only done when the situation was urgent.
Gatotkaca was appointed king of the Pringgadani country and he was also called the Pringgadani knight, because the government in that country was only run by a female descendant. In the Baratayuda war, Gatotkaca was killed by Kunta's weapon which Karna aimed at him, when he was hiding behind the clouds. Gatotkaca fell from the sky and hit Karna's vehicle and was completely destroyed by it.
According to history, Raden Gatotkaca died at a young age, much to the regret of his entire family. Gatotkaca has wide eyes, a flat nose, a mustache and a beard. Berjamang three suun, bersunting waderan, bersgul kadal menek, bergaruda back, berpraba, berkalung ulur-ulur, bergelang, berpontoh and keroncong. Full royal attire.
Following the words of the puppeteer, when Raden Gatotkaca was about to accompany the cloud, the following words were delivered: This is the clothing of Gatotka, who is also called the Pringgadani knight: A sparkling three-tiered gold jamang, a gold edging in the shape of ylang-ylang flowers which is woven in the form of surengpati (dare to die). A similar edit is also used by a student, when receiving knowledge from his teacher, namely knowledge about death which can make the recipient of the knowledge not afraid of death. It has a praba-shaped bun supported by a praba, pierced with a golden bun in the shape of a backward garuda and with threads in the shape of an engraved dragon, with a dragon king pontoh, with a kana bracelet (rectangular bracelet). Dressed in orange (dark red) silk, batik with paintings of forest content, belted with a green cindai belt, blue cindai trousers, a keroncong in the shape of a dragon king and a beruncal (sebai cloth) topped with gold earrings.
According to the story, Raden Gatotkaca, when he wanted to walk, cursed Padakacarma, who could fly without wings. Basunanda squatted, by means of which he would not get hot in the scorching heat and would not get wet in the rain. It is also said that they rolled up the cloth that had a taliwanda on it, which means it was tied around the back of the body. A moment later he patted his shoulder and stamped his feet on the earth, until the earth shook and he was sent flying into the sky.
The puppet is shown as if it were flying, moved right and left at the top of the screen for a few moments, then stuck, as if stopping on top of the megalopolis and the puppeteer tells the story again: It was said that Raden Gatotkaca had become a cloud, when he arrived in the sky it was as if he stepped on the earth, diving in the blue sky, separating the clouds in front of him, being covered by clouds behind him, he was faintly visible to people. The shine of Gatotkaca's clothes in the sunlight is like hunting lightning. So the knight Pringgadani stopped on a transverse cloud, facing the other clouds while going right and left. After Gatotkaca's vision became clear, he descended from space and headed for earth.
In the Baratayuda war, Duke Karna fought a duel with Gatotkaca. Karna releases Kunta Wijayadanu's weapon. Gatotkaca's weapon was hit in the center and he fell from the sky onto Karna's train, destroying the train. It is stated in the story that Raden Gatotkaca was a knight who never dressed up, dressed modestly and always kept aloof from women. But after Gatotkaca saw Dewi Pregiwa, Raden Arjuna's daughter, accompanied by Raden Angkawijaya, Raden Gatotkaca fell in love with the daughter who had sideburns and simple makeup. Raden Gatotkaca's behavior changed, which his mother, Dewi Arimbi, saw with joy and she complied with all her son's requests. The daughter was then married to Raden Gatotkaca. Gatotkaca berwanda: 1. Guntur, 2. Kilat, 3. Tatit, 4. Tatit sepuh, 5. Mega and 6. Mendung.
