Personal data | Bogadatta (Bogadenta) was the son of Prabu Drestarasta, king of the Astina country with his consort Dewi Gandari, daughter of Prabu Gandara and Dewi Gandini from the Gandaradesa country. He had 100 siblings (99 men and 1 woman) who were called Sata Kurawa. Among those known in puppetry are Duryudana (king of Astina State), Bomawikata, Citraksa, Citraction, Carucitra, Citrayuda, Citraboma, Durmuka, Durmagati, Dursasana (Duke of Banjarjungut), Durgempo, Gardapati (king of Bukasapta State), Gardapura, Kartamarma, (king Banyutinalang country), Kartadenta, Surtayu, Surtayuda, Wikataboma, Widandini (king of Purantara country) and Dewi Dursilawati. Bogadenta occurred from Duryudana's umbilical cord which was lost at birth. The umbilical cord was found by Resi Rasakumala at Padepokan Colomadu. By Resi Rasakumala, the umbilical cord was created into a baby who was later named Raden Trigatra. Bogadenta married Dewi Murdiningrum. Bagadata had a son named Bajradata. |

Bogadenta - (Prabu) - Mahabharata
Bogadenta gained supernatural powers from Resi Rasakumala, he then decided to leave Padepokan Colomadu. When we arrived at Astina, there was an elephant going berserk and chasing a princess. He managed to subdue the elephant by jumping onto the elephant's neck, riding and pressing the elephant's head until it was helpless. The elephant then became Bogadenta's vehicle and was given the name Murdaningkung, while the princess, Murdaningsih, became the srati or handler. Bogadenta succeeded in conquering Turilaya with his supernatural powers, and he became king of the country.
In the Bharatayudha war, together with troops from Turilaya, he became commander of the Korawa war, replacing Resi Bhishma. He was able to tear apart the Pandava defenses. Riding the Elephant Murdaningkung, and accompanied by a female soldier Dewi Murdaningsih as the Elephant's srati. On the battlefield, the three of them are a pair that terrifies the opponent because they can be invincible. Their magic lies in their teardrops, if one of them dies, the teardrops from the others will be able to bring them back to life.
Finally Bogadenta faced the Pandava mediator, Arjuna. The duel between the two was finally won by Arjuna's trident arrow. Bogadenta died together with Gajah Murdaningkung and his sister Dewi Murdaningsih.
