Basukesti - (Prabu) - Mahabharata

Prabu Basukesti was the king of the Wirata country and the grandson of Prabu Basupati, also the king of the Wirata country. During Basukesti's reign, the Wirata state grew stronger, more stable and prosperous.
But Prabu Basukesti felt disappointed in his life, because of the death of the empress, so he was called a hot person. Driven by shame, the king left the kingdom and became a priest named Resi Maosada.

After years of meditation, the Rishi got a wife named Dewi Adrika and reigned again in Wirata with the name Prabu Basukesti again.

Raden Basukesti was then inaugurated as the new king of Wirata, making Prabu Hastimurti, the king of Gajahoya, disappointed. The story continues with Prabu Basukesti's second marriage to Dewi Sugandi to have children. The story ends with the battle between the Wirata Kingdom and the Duhyapura Kingdom, where Prabu Dwapara, the king of Duhyapura, was defeated and took refuge with Resi Manumanasa on Mount Saptaarga.
