Angkawijaya – (Raden) – Mahabharata

Angkawijaya's marriage to Dewi Utari was not equal, because Dewi Utari was the same age as Angkawijaya's great-grandfather, but with the blessings of the Goddesses, her nature did not change and she remained young.
As a great knight, Angkawijaya resided in Plangkawati. This country was originally the country of a giant who was defeated by Angkawijaya.

Angkawijaya was very much loved by his parents. Likewise, Angkawijaya was very fond of Raden Gatotkaca. These two knights always helped each other in war.

In the Baratayuda war, Angkawijaya was appointed as commander. Angkawijaya was tricked by the Korawa and trapped in the enemy's environment, until separated from the Pandawa army. Raden Angkawijaya saved all the Pandhawa brothers lives. The Pandhawa brothers found themselves in the middle of the troops of Pandhita Durna (commander of Korawa and their soldiers) when used the tactic Cakrabyuha. Raden Abimanyu rode his magical horse Kyai Ciptawilaha through the troops to open an escape for the Pandhawa brothers, even though he would have no way out, thereby sacrificing himself.

As the story goes, Angkawijaya met his death because he suffered too many wounds from slashes and arrows, until his person could no longer be recognized. Despite his wounds, Angkawijaya continued to rage, until he killed many enemies. Angkawijaya was praised as highly as possible by the war poet and the wounds that covered his entire body decorated and added to Angkawijaya's handsomeness.

In the play Wahyu Cakraningrat, namely the kingdom revelation, it is said that he who is possessed by the revelation will have descendants who will become kings. So many knights wanted the revelation, including Raden Samba, Raden Angkawijaya and the Korawas. But the only one who received the revelation was Raden Angkawijaya.
And the Dwarawati party, the son of Prabu Kresna named Raden Samba also desired to receive the revelation, waiting for it, but did not succeed in obtaining it, because Raden Samba was influenced by circumstances that distanced him from the revelation.
The Korawas didn't want to be left behind and wanted to get revelation. They formed a kind of Pendawa Lima with Suyudana as Puntadewa, Dushasana as Wrekodara, Kartamarma as Arjuna, and Citraksa and Citraction as Nakula and Sadewa. But all their efforts turned out to be a failure.
