Tambak Ganggeng – (Arya) – Mahabharata
Arya Tambak Ganggeng was a prime minister in the Amarta state under the reign of Prabu Puntadewa/Yudhistira.
Hereditarily, the descendants of Gajahangunangun served the descendants of Resi Palasara, starting from Prabu Kresnadipayana (Bagawan Abiyasa) who became the king of the Astina state, Prabu Pandu to Arya Tambak Ganggeng who served the Pandawa family in the Amarta state.
In addition to mastering the science of government and statecraft, he was also skilled in military skills, especially playing mace and trident weapons. During the Bharatayudha war, the prime minister Tambak Ganggeng led the Amarta troops into battle.
Tambak Ganggeng died in the battle against Adipati Karna, king of the Awangga country.
