Buta Terong - All stories

Buta is a general term for all kinds of demons. Butas usually fight the heroes of the 'good' party and naturally have to lose out. Buta means giant and Terong means eggplant. He is called Blind Aubergine because his nose is shaped like an eggplant. This giant is commonly called a security destroyer giant, but in fact it is not a destroyer because of its cruelty, but because it eats heavily and cannot be satisfied with any amount of food. Such blind greed that knows no satisfaction.

Cross-eyed eggplant blind. It actually has its own name, but because the name has to match the shape of the body, the puppeteer also calls it Blind Aubergine. Serrated and tusked, its shoulders high on one side. Graceful hair. Edit decorative tangle flowers. The bounce is more real. Bracelet, kris gayaman. To decorate.

This giant also indicates the year of construction in words: Blind five prey janma expressed in numbers is 1655. Buta Terong is a small giant retainer (in Javanese language, blind rucah), in the war of flowers or the battle between the blind cakil and a knight, sometimes Ki Dalang also plays the wayang character Buta Terong, who is reunited with Petruk or Bagong, this giant does not have any supernatural powers, often Petruk and Bagong played it for laughs. Buta Terong has a nose resembling an eggplant, if the nose is opened, the words of Buta Terong will be clear, but otherwise it is difficult for the speaker to be caught by his interlocutor.
