Bratasena - Raden - Mahabharata

Bratasena never uses soft language towards anyone. Also, harsh language is used against God. During his life he only spoke softly once, namely when he met Dewa Ruci, a dwarf god who was his true god. But the roughness of his language is full of wisdom. He never lied. Because of his holy soul, Bratasena always finds the truth.

All of Bratasena's clothes symbolize himself and his determination. He has a njenggureng face, frowning, indicating that he dares to stand up to the truth. Bratasena's determination is like a mountain, unchanging in the wind. The puppeteer describes Bratasena's body and clothes as follows:
Once upon a time, on the way of the knight from nggulpamenang (Bratasena), after he stood up straight, his powerful wind came out. Raden Bratasena always walks straight, never turns, he wears flowing hair, a bun decorated with a backward garuda which symbolizes that Bratasena is not worried about facing God and his own soul. Pupuk didah reminds of the light in the womb of Hyang Dewa Ruci (the god of Bratasena). It is decorated with gold in the form of tamarind fiber which symbolizes that Bratasena's intelligence is disguised, so that he looks like stupid charcoal.

The edit is covered in decoration in the form of white pandan flowers, which are meant to smell good both on the outside and on the inside. Taking the form of a mangosteen symbolizes that when he dies, everything will go perfectly, without leaving anything behind. The candrakirana bracelet, where candra means moon and kirana means writing, symbolizes that the tunglpamenang knights are knowledgeable without writing, but clearly and not vaguely. Wearing a nagabanda necklace (binding dragon), where naga means king of snakes and banda means rope that binds the body, symbolizes that Raden Bratasena in battle has equal strength with an angry dragon and will not leave the arena. The word defeat is unknown to Bratasena. For him, losing means death. The loincloth is Poleng Bangbintulu cloth (a rectangular, five-colored checkered cloth). This cloth reminds of the five kinds of anger. Belted with a tasseled cindai cloth lying on his right and left thighs, it symbolizes that Raden Bratasena knows everything on his right and left.

Porong (jewellery items located on the thighs means that he can keep everything in his heart. The dragon king's keroncong wrapped around his feet reminds him that he can meet Dewa Ruci, after he is free from the dragon's entanglement. Has pancanaka nails as long as the lawi lawi in his hands right and left. Raden Bratasena symbolizes the power among the five brothers and can open up all knowledge.

That's how it was, when the big wind came, Raden Bratasena spoke about his knowledge: Wungkalbener knowledge, Bandungbandawasa knowledge and also the Jalasengsara aji. As he walked, Bratasena was accompanied by five bayu (winds), the greenish one belonging to Begawan Maenaka; the blackish one belongs to the Liman (elephant) Satubanda; the yellowish brass one belongs to Raden Bratasena himself; and the white one belongs to Begawan Kapiwiru (Hanoman).

When the puppeteer said this, the Bratasena puppet was stuck in the middle of the screen. Then the gunungan is carried out and above over and over again, pretending that Raden Bratasena is emitting wind accompanied by the mastermind's suluk (singing) which can awaken a sense of horror.
A typhoon with a frightening sound traveled through the trees. Trees with deep roots are broken and those with shallow roots. fell. Jalan Raden Bratasena is straight, as desired. Raden Bratasena jumped as far as an elephant could jump and as fast as lightning.
After completing this speech, the puppeteer Raden Bratasena performed it repeatedly in shading accompanied by gamelan sounds. Bratasena's path is made by jumping, one jump is as wide as the screen in the middle which is used to beat the puppet.
