Kresna - (Prabu - Sri) - Mahabharata

King Krishna is the last incarnation of Sanghyang Vishnu. In addition to being very magical and able to pray, he also has magical heirlooms, among others; Cakra Weapon, Wijayakusuma Flower, Pancajahnya Trumpet/Sangkala, Decorative Glass, Aji Pameling and Aji Kawrastawan. Prabu Krishna got the country of Dwarawati after defeating Prabu Narasinga, then ascended the throne with the title of Prabu Sri Bathara Krishna.
King Krishna had four consorts:
1. Dewi Jembawati, daughter of Resi Jembawan and Dewi Trijata from the Gadamadana hermitage, had sons; Samba and Gunadewa (in the form of monkeys).
2. Goddess Rukmini, daughter of Prabu Bismaka/Arya Prabu Rukma with Dewi Rumbini from the country of Kumbina, gave birth to: Saradewa (in giant form), Partadewa and Dewi Titisari/Sitisari.
3. Dewi Setyaboma, daughter of Prabu Setyajid/Arya Ugrasena with Dewi Wersini, from the country of Lesanpura, had a son; Arya Setyaka.
4. Dewi Pratiwi, wife descended from the incarnation of Sanghyang Vishnu, daughter of Nagaraja from the Jalatunda Well, with sons; Bambang Sitija and Dewi Siti Sundari.

After the death of Prabu Baladewa/Resi Balarama, his older brother, and the destruction of the entire Yadawa dynasty, Prabu Kresna wanted moksa. Prabu Kresna died in a state of meditation by means of an arrow from a hunter named Ki Jara which hit his leg.

King Kresna
After becoming king, Nayarana was named Prabu Harimurti and Padmanaba because he was the incarnation of Begawan Padmanaba. Also named Prabu Dwarawati, because he was king of the Dwarawati country. Finally he was also named Kresna, because of his black skin and besides that there were other names. He was able to take the throne in Dwarawati, because he succeeded in defeating a giant king named Prabu Kunjana Krishna from the country Dwarawati and the name Krishna were also used by him and he became Prabu Krishna.
Prabu Kresna is a caretaker or also called the puppeteer Pendawa, namely a person who carries out state tactics, war and others. Prabu Kresna has a weapon called Cakra. A weapon that can only be mastered by an incarnation of Vishnu. Prabu Kresna also has the Kembang Wijayakusuma azirnat to revive someone who dies before it is destined for him to die. In the Baratayuda war, Sri Kresna tried to win the Pendawa. King Kresna's age continued until he experienced the era after the Baratayuda War.

Sri Krishna had four consorts: 1. Dewi Jembawati, daughter of a monkey priest, Kapi Jembawan from the Gadamedana hermitage, gave birth to Raden Samba, 2. Dewi Rukmini, daughter of King Rukma, king of Lesanpura, gave birth to a daughter, Dewi Sitisundari, 3. Dewi Setyaboma , daughter of Prabu Setyajid, king of Lesanpura country, gave birth to Raden Setyaka and 4. Dewi Pretiwi, daughter of Hyang Antaboga, gave birth to Prabu Bomanarakasura.
King Kresna could do tiwikrama (transform into a huge giant). In the play Kresnagugah, Krishna is awakened while he is sleeping in the form of a giant holding a chakra weapon, a weapon that indicates that Krishna is the incarnation of Vishnu. In this story it is narrated that whoever can awaken the sleeping Sri Kresna, he will win later in the Baratayuda war. So try to wake up both the Korawa and the Pendawa. Korawa's efforts were in vain. The reality is that Krishna's soul has left his gross body and has ascended to heaven to negotiate with the Gods about the future Baratayuda.
Only Arjuna can follow him to heaven. Krishna's soul returned to his giant body and awakened King Krishna from his sleep. It was proven later in the Baratayuda war that the Pendawa side won. The wayang Prabu Krishna that is performed in the afternoon is the one with a black face and the whole body is painted and the one that is played in the morning is the one with the whole body painted black. Prabu Krishna berwanda: 1. Gendreh, written by Sri Sultan Agung in Mataram, 2. Rondon and 3. Mawur.
For a puppeteer, puppeteering Nayarana or Prabu Krishna is one of the most difficult jobs, because wisdom must be felt in the words spoken by the two figures and apart from being wise, the words must also be witty and the antics presented are not the antics of comedians, but the antics of people. wise, or perhaps it could also be called a subtle joke. For example, Sri Kresna answered Prabu Suyudana's always complicated questions as follows: "Ah, in negotiating this difficult matter, let's not bargain like people shopping at the market." These antics are not the antics of a comedian, but the words of a king who can be humorous too.
Many puppeteers spend time in puppeteering Nayarana or Prabu Kresna, because it is fun to play the two characters, if Nayarana or Prabu Kresna meets a princess, this meeting allows for an interesting dialogue and which can make the audience happy.
