Manumayasa - (Resi) - Mahabharata
Resi Manumayasa is a priest in Retawu from the son of Bambang Parikenan. The priest was strict because he wanted his descendants to continue to live happily. From the Gods, Resi Manumayasa received an angel as a gift named Dewi Retnawati who then sent down the Pendawa.
This harsh asceticism gave rise to misunderstandings in Virata's country, but because of the purity of the sage's heart, these misunderstandings did not cause any obstacles, on the contrary they increased his dignity.
Manumayasa went down to Marcapada with the task of maintaining the peace and welfare of mankind. With the permission of Prabu Basukesti, King of Wirata, Manumayasa established Retawu hermitage on Saptaarga mountain.
Together with Sakutrem, Resi Manumayasa became the hero of Kadewatan to destroy Prabu Kalimantara, Arya Dadali and Arya Sarotama, three giants from the country of Nusahantara who raged in Suralaya because his desire to marry Dewi Irim Irin was rejected by Bathara Guru. The bodies of the three giants changed into Kitab/Jamus Kalimasada, Hrudadali Arrow and Sarotama Arrow. Meanwhile, the Banarasa faction, who due to a misunderstanding attacked Resi Manumayasa, also met his death and changed his form into the Umbrella Tunggulnaga.
Resi Manumayasa also received the gift of God in the form of a magical arrow named Pasopati.
After he passed away, Resi Manumayasa handed over the Retawu Hermitage to Sakutrem. He then lived in Paremana hermitage (Fertile mountain), one of the seven peaks of Sabtaarga mountain. Resi Manumayasa died at a very old age. His body was buried at Paremana Monastery.
The storyteller died perfectly.
