Sinta - (Dewi) - Ramayana[edit | edit source]
When Rama is sent into exile, Sinta follows him along with Rama's stepbrother Lesmana. Sinta is checked by Rahwana. After a fierce battle, Rama and Lesmana, aided by an army of monkeys and bears led by Sugriwa and Hanoman, finally defeat Rahwana. Rama kills Rahwana and frees Sinta. Rama doubts whether Sinta has remained faithful to him during her captivity and has her undergo a trial by fire. Although she passes the test, Rama sends her away. Sinta gives birth to Rama's twin sons in exile Kusa and Lawa.
