Emban Kembu
Wooden wayang doll depicting an emban. Emban are female servants. They are comical figures and appear in all wayang stories. Emban performs at the beginning of a performance and provides a glimpse of the mystery about the story to come. The most common are Emban Geulis and Emban Kembu. Emban Kembu is the fat and rough maid. Emban Geulis is the attractive one and dances.
