Sukrasana – (Bambang) – Arjuna Sasra Bahu

Sukrasana has extraordinary supernatural powers, he is also noble-hearted. He serves Bathara Wisnu and serves as the gardener of Sriwedari Garden in Kahyangan Untarasegara. One time he missed his family very much and came to the Argasekar hermitage. However, there he did not meet the older brother he loved so much. He then asked his father where his older brother had gone. His father explained that Sumantri had gone to the country of Maespati to serve Prabu Arjunasasrabahu. Sukrasana was determined to follow his older brother to Maespati. He was very excited because he wanted to meet Sumantri, his beloved brother. In the middle of the forest, Sukrasana finally met Sumantri who was sad. Sumantri was confused about how to fulfill the requirements of King Arjunasasrabahu, namely to move the Sriwedari Garden to the country of Maespati so that his devotion would be accepted.

Sukrasana comforted him and said that he was able to do it. It only took one night, the Sriwedari garden was successfully moved by Sukrasana. He asked Sumantri not to leave him again and to allow him to live in the palace. Sumantri fulfilled his younger brother's request on the condition that he not show himself to the king's family because he was a little embarrassed to have a younger brother with a scary face.

One day, Prabu Arjunasasrabahu's wife, Dewi Citrawati, was walking around the garden. She found Sukrasana fast asleep. The goddess screamed in fear. Sumantri became annoyed with Sukrasana and asked him to return to his parents' house so that a similar incident would not happen again. However, Sukrasana wanted to always be with his brother. At his wits' end, Sumantri scared his brother with an arrow. Sumantri's intention was to scare his brother with his arrow so that Sukrasana would run. Unfortunately the arrow was released, hit Sukrasana in his chest and he died.
However, before meeting his death, Sukrasana swore that he would live together with Sumantri in Nirvana, and his death would be avenged through a Giant king.

Sumantri was very sad about the death of his brother, which he did unintentionally. Sukrasana's oath was fulfilled. When the country of Maespati was attacked by the Alengka army, Sumantri fought against Prabu Dasamuka (Rahwana), the giant king of the Alengka kingdom. Sukrasana's spirit infiltrated Rahwana's fangs and Sumantri was bitten to death. What Sukrasana did was not revenge, but love for his brother. He only wanted to enter heaven with his brother.
