Dewabrata - (Raden) - Mahabharata

Dewabrata did not want to have a wife (wadat). But because he was a son of a king who would later occupy the royal throne and therefore had to have a wife, he was forced to marry Dewi Ambika (Amba), the daughter of Prabu Darmamuka, the king of the state of Swantipura.

Dewi Ambika (Amba) has a feeling of love for Dewabrata (Bisma), but Dewabrata does not love Dewi Ambika. When Dewabrata left Swantipura, his wife wanted to go with him, but Dewabrata did not allow her. So to scare his wife, Dewabrata said that if his wife still wanted to come, he would release his arrows. The arrow suddenly went loose and hit his wife to her death. Dewi Ambika died, but before she died, she gave a message that she wanted to live with the person she loved, Dewabrata (Bisma). She swore that she would wait for Bisma and take revenge in the Baratayuda war through a princess warrior from Cempalareja. This really happened during the Baratayuda War. When Bisma faces a female soldier, it is actually Dewi Ambika who has united with Srikandi.
