Gandakusuma – (Raden) – Mahabharata
In the Pring Cendani hermitage, Begawan Wilawuk, a powerful priest in the form of a giant dragon, lives with his daughter, Jimambang. His three grandchildren also live there. They are Gandawerdaya, Gandakusuma, and Dewi Wardayawati. When his three grandchildren are adults, Jimambang reveals that their father is Permadi alias Arjuna, a knight from Mandura. After learning his origins, Gandawerdaya said goodbye to his family at the hermitage. He wanted to find his father.
Unfortunately, his journey got lost on the way to the Sokalima hermitage. Then, he was taken advantage of by Pandita Durna and Prabu Duryudana. They conspired so that Gandawerdaya would be recognized as a son if he succeeded in killing Arjuna. Gandawerdaya did not know that his father was the sworn enemy of King Duryudana.
Full story see Gandawardaya and Gandakusuma.
