Personal data	Trinetra is the name of one of the children of the King of Alengka , Prabu Dasamuka (Rahwana), apart from Indrajit , Trisirah , Atikaya , Trigunung and Trimurda. However, Trinetra has a different mother from Dasamuka's other children, most of whom were born by the Goddess of Dance. Trinetra's mother was Dewi Sayempraba who later married Raden Hanoman . Hanoman's marriage to Sayempraba gave birth to Trinetra's half-sister, namely Trigangga.

As the name "Trinetra" suggests, Trinetra has three eyes . One eye located on the forehead when angry can emit fire that can destroy the enemy. Trinetra would later die at the hands of his half-sister, Trigangga, when an army of monkeys from Ayodya under Prabu Rama and Hanoman attacked Alengka to free Rama's wife Sita.
